okay. I saw Tomb Raider yesterday. It had it's moments...... in other places it was ludicrous.
it was the Final Fantasy trailor that really made it worth it. they should put the trailors at the end of movies, b/c TR really paled in comparison. July 18. The graphix [of the FF movie] are just incredible. at one point, i thought "hey, they do have real ppl in.... waaaaaaitaminute."
Tomb Raider, the basic plot is there's this Triangle of Light. It's been split into pieces. Whoever unites the pieces and controls the Triangle has supreme power over everything and can even control Time.
sound familiar?
One of the bosses she fights (yeah, you've got minions running around, and then a really big monster shows up. it's pretty obvious it's the boss monster for that level) has a fighting style that's darn similar to Ganon in OoT. (waiving big sharp things every which way for the "ooh, i'm a big boss monster" pose, then stalking up to her and swinging)
So. There's our (warped) Zelda movie, starring Lara Croft.
